The University of Bradford Mental Health Advice Service is a multi-disciplinary team of skilled and experienced mental health advisors who understand how mental health issues can affect your studies, work, and life. We provide free, confidential support and advice to our students.

How Mental Health Advisers can help

  • Confidential advice, practical support and guidance relating to your mental health and the management of your studies
  • Help with accessing support services within the University of Bradford and externally, for example your GP
  • Liaising with academic staff, with your consent
  • The management of reasonable course adjustments and exam arrangements
  • Support with accessing Disabled Students Allowance funding, if eligible, and subject to appropriate medical evidence
  • Access to study coach support, if eligible, and subject to appropriate medical evidence
  • Transition planning, both to and from university
